I'm Stefania Avallone and I was born in 1993 in Salerno, Italy.
Passionate about technology since I was a child and I really like to learn and experiment in this area. I started studying computer science in high school and then I continued my university studies.

Today, I work as a DevOps Engineer focused on microservices architectures and agile methodology. I played the role of team leader on several projects, I have always demonstrated discrete leadership and coordination skills and also excellent analytical, design and team working capabilities. I consider myself attentive to details and precise in meeting deadlines.

Besides the work, I like to carry out different projects, and I participated in the hackathons with my colleagues.

Developer and tester for UBS screening application designed to identify politically exposed or high-risk clients. I contributed to making the application reliable and high-performing. Development of a Spring Boot application for API management; Design of a CI/CD pipeline with high-performinig steps; Acted as lead engineer for the reverse proxy initiative, driving technology evaluation and end-to-end implementation.

Development of microservices in Java and Python; Front-end in ReactsJS, NodeJS (Typescript) and CMS Adobe; deployment on GCP. Team leader for Business management and E-commerce projects. Major contribution I proposed and developed: I have reduced testing effort by 80% proposing a Kubernetes architecture to enhance integrated tests in a dev environment. I created an automated test suite in CI/CD pipeline, saving 60% time.

Development of several microservices in Golang, Java and Python to generate 5G licenses. Test suite automation of microservices with Robot Framework; integration of Prometheus monitoring tool for metrics analysis. Major contribution I proposed and developed: I reduced the memory footprint of several microservices through optimal parameter search. I redesigned the CI/CD pipelines to make the workflow asynchronous and improve the process time by about 70 minutes.
